The Wedding Crechers Surrey was founded in 2023, during a very special chapter of my life my maternity leave with my own little boy.
Becoming a mum brought a whole new perspective to weddings, family, and the beautiful (and sometimes chaotic!) moments that come with celebrating alongside little ones.
I’m a fun, loving, family girl and proud mum to a toddler who is fast, fabulous, and full of personallity so I truly understand both the magic children bring and the care they need.
With over 16 years of childcare experience since leaving school, my passion has always been creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can thrive.
The idea for The Wedding Crechers came after attending a wedding with four children under four. In the middle of the excitement, I remember thinking surely there’s a way to make this feel effortless for everyone. That’s where the journey began.
Since launching, The Wedding Crechers Surrey has grown beautifully, and I’m so proud to now have a wonderful team of five wonderful ladies bringing together dedicated team members who share the same passion, warmth, and high standards of care.
We wholeheartedly believe that children make a wedding. They bring joy, laughter, and those unforgettable moments that stay with you forever. While your family and friends are there to celebrate, we are there to provide a seamless, professional childcare experience entertaining little ones, keeping them safe, and ensuring they are happy and on their very best behaviour throughout your special day.

Lauren
Wedding & Event Lead
Lauren has worked in childcare for over 20 years, having started her career straight after leaving school. We first met while working and studying together in a nursery, where we quickly bonded over our shared passion for childcare. Over the years, we’ve worked together in several nanny roles before taking the leap in 2023 to
co-found The Wedding Crèchers of Surrey. Alongside running the business, Lauren is a busy working mum to four children, all born within just four years! She is incredibly resourceful, calm under pressure, and the person everyone turns to when it comes to weddings and events. Her warm, caring nature shines through in everything she does, and she is dedicated to making every child feel safe, happy, and at the heart of the day.
Yvonne
Wedding & Event Lead
Yvonne brings warmth, experience, and energy to everything she does.
Withover 35 years of experience in childcare, she has dedicated much of her career to supporting young people, including her role as a SENCO lead in a primary school. A proud mum to two daughters and a loving grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren (yes, we know she doesn’t look old enough!),
Yvonne is truly the heart and soul of any celebration. Known for her vibrant spirit and love of dancing, she’s our very own dancing queen who keeps the joy alive at every wedding.
Hollie
Wedding & Event assistant
Hollie is a highly qualified childcare professional with an NVQ in Childcare and a passion for creativity. As Head of Stagecoach, she specialises in teaching expressive arts and design, bringing imagination and confidence to every child she works with. Hollie has a magical way of turning every storybook into an exciting adventure and always comes prepared with a fantastic range of outdoor games to keep children engaged and entertained. With her fun, bubbly personality, children warm to her instantly, making her a much-loved part of any event.
Samantha
Wedding & Event Assistant
Samantha brings over 20 years of hands-on childcare experience, not only professionally but also as a devoted mum of three, including a teenager. She holds an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, along with specialist qualifications in caring for children with disabilities, brain injuries, and epilepsy training. Samantha currently works within a school setting as well as being a fantastic part of our weddings team. Full of energy and enthusiasm, she’s our queen of hula hooping and outdoor games, always bringing fun wherever she goes.
